Henry Cavill Will Not Be Reprising His Role as Superman

Because they expect movies to make huge amount of money like the Marvel movies. Every movie must be a hit... after hit.

I enjoyed the Henry Cavill Superman movies and even Justice League too.
 
Honestly the Zack Snyder DCEU universe they created ended up not half-bad. Especially when they let him go back and fix The Justice League... however it was still mishandled overall. And with the upcoming Flash movie following the Flash Point story line... well you could not pick a better time to end it.

Honestly for the (low) quality of BvsS & Justice League, I think those films made TONS of $$. The ratio of $$-to-quality for DC films is WAAAAY higher than Marvel.
