Can't believe none of you middle aged men are talking about this game. This is one of the best surprise games I have played this year. What a great way to start the year with a free game.
It is available on game pass and totally worth the downpump.

Tell me if you are playing this. I finished Chapter 1 just now.
 
im genuinely surprised i forgot to make a thread about it. I swear i had.. Pretend i added an embarrassed emote here. I have not played it yet, but games seems to be one of the best games this year and the year only started. They definitely got that surprise homerun.
 
I though it was pretty damn good. Didn't quite grab me personally, but I can see allot of people loving this game.
 
Just started playing this myself. Extremely slick in all areas. Funnier than I expected too with a mix of slapstick and puns and general gags. Combine that with really good animations for cutscenes and it's a cool combination. It runs smoothly and everything seems to go together really well.

I'm not a huge fan of the QTEs they occasionally put up when you press the big red buttons, but the combat is generally easy with M + KB on Normal. Up to Track 7. Should be finished in 3 days or so.
 
Yeah this game is surprisingly excellent. Lots of fourth wall breaks with the story like where they talk about leaving arrows for navigation and then at the end of the arrows there is a magnetic hook that the robots can't even use so it was a waste of time. Even the cartoon mission briefings they do are pretty funny. Some of the cutscenes really sync up well with the music beats.

Also near the end it seems like there is a spot for DLC with Chai talking about an epic battle that the players missed out on.
 
I am getting my ass kicked in this game. The lasers were crap to parry but now a whole boss battle of parries. This is going to take a while. :nuts:. I got so fed up of QTE that I enabled both accessibility options. Still the game is a bitch to play. Such a strong start ruined by needless rhythm stuff that is super unforgiving.
 
For parries in the boss battle scenarios, I found that just doing it double time (or button mashing) works pretty well without having to think much.
 
I finished Track 7. Just need to finish the rest today and uninstall. It plays better on the box and on 65 inch OLED.
 
Finished it. What a fantastic game. If it hadn’t been for the absolute perfection of QTEs it would be a perfect 10. One of the best games I have played in a long time.

I also want to smack all my office colleagues with a guitar on the face now. Would be soooo good! :drool:
