Looking for a mobile to replace my Mate 9

My Mate9 lately seems to be a bit funky, so i was looking for a replacement.

Don't want to shell out 1k, so no P40 Pro, nor OnePlus 8 and no Mate 30 Pro.

Read some tests, watched some product reviews.

Candidates:

- Mate 20 Pro
- P30 Pro
- OnePlus 7 Pro

Thoughts? (no prayers needed, thanks)

Another to consider might be the Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro?

p.s. Not sure I would consider Huawei phone anymore with them getting forced out of the Google services eco-system.

I have a OnePlus 7T, OnePlus is the only phone I'll buy anymore. Great pricing, great devices, timely updates, and even great customer service.

Mate 9 here still going strong. Love this phone. It's a rare bird too, seems like. Ran accubattery on there, to help keep the battery in good shape hoping to stretch this out another 2-3 years.

yeah, i love that phone too, but it's showing its age. Would also love to get another Huawei, but Trunks is right, no one knows what will be going on Huawei phones in the future, also the google-ban sucks balls.

I'm not sure about what's the real difference between the OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7T, looks almost identical. Otherwise a very nice phone as far as i can tell.

The 7T is the newer version, beefier specs. Kind of like when Apple does the "S" version of a phone. I had a OnePlus 6T before this 7T, and it was great as well. I actually had to use it last week as I had to send my phone in for screen replacement, I dropped it face first on my driveway :(

That said, sending it in to OnePlus was super easy, they turned it around fast, and my 7T came back looking like new. Was $200 total to repair it, but that included overnight shipping both ways. I didn't purchase the damage protection this time around, thinking I wouldn't need it

I'll look into it, thanks, Elysian. You can buy new ones for around 500 bucks, so that would be ok with my budget

You have a budget for 1000$. You can get an iPhone in that budget.

i dunno how you came to that conclusion, but my budget is more in the range of 600 bucks, if i'd be willing to shell out 1k there would be other phones i'd get. And no (again), no iPhone, thanks.
