Wow, where did this movie come from? This movie was GREAT. Maybe I just went in with no expectations, but this was probably the best movie of the year I've seen.

Very Zombieland/Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy. Very witty, and fun.
 
I saw this trailer pop up in my YT feed a few days ago and added it my wishlist on Vudu. I typically wait for things to go on sale before I buy them, mainly because I have enough unwatched movies already. However, maybe I'll move this one up the list a bit.

This one is very much a comfortable, no heavy lifting required, little charmer. It's just a fun watch with some good chuckles and great special effects.

What I like about it, is it's actually well thought out. It's more witty than Zombieland, everything actually makes sense, it has charm, and the romance isn't over felt.

The movie is a blessing this year, it's probably the first, and likely only movie I have fully enjoyed in such a shitty year. One that I could actually just forget about everything around me and enjoy.

I completely agree. It was just refreshing when everything else feels like a respin of some type or another. :up:

yeah not bad at all, good action and a bit of fun. Thought the ending was on point. Filmed in Australia woo

They went to Australia so they could use actual wildlife for the monsters, no special effects required.

Because there's real freaking monsters there :bleh:
