MMC 9.16 Problems; Looking for Old Versions

I’ve just installed all the ATI software for my AIW9600 and actually have TV working. Yay! Unfortunately, MMC 9.16 has turned out to be garbage.

There is no option to disable tv-on-demand in 9.16 and the registry hack does not work. While it does turn time-shifting off, the “live” feed is still a fraction of a second behind a real TV tuned to the same channel.

In addition, even though I’ve got the audio cable from the AIW plugged into the Line-In of my audio card, the TV audio still comes through the WAVE channel, mixed with normal system sounds. (The wave stream is in sync with the—lagging—video, while the audio coming through the line-in is in sync with the real TV; that means two, out-of-sync, audio streams).

Further, even with the registry hack, the CPU is pegged at ~25% when merely watching TV and the video and audio (the lagging one in sync with the video, not the line-in one in sync with the real TV) stutters and freezes whenever my CPU usage goes up (like when surfing the Internet).

Finally, even though I’ve got TVOD “disabled”, the MMC still creates some time-shifting .VCR files (though nowhere near as large as when it’s enabled).

I’m not going to waste any more of my time on this. I’m now looking for old versions of MMC. Unfortunately the oldest one available on AMD’s site is 9.16. I have a copy of 9.06.1, but I’m looking for 9.08 which I have read is the last good version. If possible, I’d also like a copy of 9.06, 9.13, and 9.14 (for testing and archiving).

If anyone’s got a copy, please let me know.

Thanks a lot.
