My old trusty AIW, just plain old AIW :)

But that was for an AIW Pro 128. My card is only and All-in-wonder (no Pro). Bought in 1996 I think :nag: I think this was the very first All-in-Wonder that came out.

Try the steps in that thread and see what happens, then report back here. You have nothing to lose.

Any all-in-wonder card will work in XP

Any all-in-wonder card will work in XP

But to get the new MMC 8.X-9.X install in your system, you need Radeon or TV wonder. Force install the new SP_WDM driver for stable performance in MMC TV.

Force install? How would I do that? I have all the stuff installed but I can't seem to find the TV Player? I get VCD/CD/Player(not TV)/Library

First things first... Are the tv tuner drivers loaded in device manager?
If yes, try doing a capture using something free.. like windows media encoder.
If not, we gotta work on that.

It does have the drivers: ATI TV Tuner present in my Device Manager. But when I try to use Media Encoder to capture a screen I only get a blank grey screen. Any suggestions?

I just had to download the Win98 driver for the AIW Rage II to figure out what TV tuner chip is used. See what I do for you guys?
The good news... its the BT829 family.
The better news... its still supported.
Even better news... Drivers can be had as the WDM integrated driver from the new model AIW/Radeon series.
The bad news.... Im not sure if they will work properly.
So, download that driver (3.3MB from www.ati.com), and install it.
Hope it works.
