New Case

I currently have a Cooler Master Centurion 590 Mid ATX case. It's getting the job done with no problems. I just want something a little more flashy, with a sidewindow so I can see all my goodies. Lookin for some help because I'm kind of picky and would like some recomendations, even if that rec is to just keep my curent case.

So what the new case has to have:
Black or Silver finish
Bottom mount PSU
Side fan vent kind of near the middle, as to not hit my MASSIVE CPU cooler.
Top fans.

This is the only one I've seen so far that really nails what I want;http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146047
Alright, tell me what you think I should buy, if anything.

Well true also technically the Nine Hundred and Nine Hundred Two. I love the P series but it depends on your usage. If you are gonna overclock a lot then they cooling in the P series is not up to par with the gaming cases. However if you do not plan to overclock I serlious think the P series are the best looking cases out.

I re-built my wife's computer into one of those a couple of months ago. I really like it. Except for these flaws:
-The cheap plastic Hard Drive locks don't work well at all.
-It's noisey with no fan speed selectors like Antec (not that bad but too much noise)
-No motherboard tray

Seriously, I'm not buying another case that doesn't have a motherboard tray. I also want a case that allows access to the underside of the CPU area without having to remove the whole dang motherboard. The way it is with almost all cases is you have to completley have to remove the motherboard to change a fan or CPU.

I disagree. My P182 has been an excellent case for my overclocking adventures, including my 105W Xeon X3210 B3 50% overclock.

I think the 900 and 900 v2 are made irrelevant by the HAF, and the pricing on the 1200.

See - now there's a proper case with a cut out under the CPU area.

That's why I suggested it, very tasty.

Not getting the Antec 1200, a full tower case is too large. I like the size of my current case. I'm leaning away from the Tempest too, and thinking of switching to the 900. I also like the HAF, but it doesn't have a side window. I want a window to show off my goodies. If it wasn't for that, then i wouldn't be switching cases.

It has a side-window, when you put your motherboard in it is raised. I can see my CPU clearly through that window and if you look over it you can see your GPU etc.

Don't let a stupid window drop you from getting one of the best cases in terms of airflow, noise, and space.

The Antec Nine Hundred Two is the perfect case. Beats all others, IMO. I have the Antec Nine Hundred and I love it, except a few minor drawbacks. 1) I had to cut my own holes for PSU cable management, and 2) the interior is silver, not black. The Nine Hundred Two remedies these issues and more.

Only problem it's a bit pricey. But if you can find it on sale (and in stock) jump on it.

The only thing I dislike about the 900 series is the blue LED fans. I might could go for it with white LED, but I'd prefer no LED.

I bought a Gigabyte 3D Aurora 570 yesterday :)
The box is gigantic.......

There will be no pics because its unopened and theres no guts to put in it yet. I got the last one in stock at the store since it was discontinued some time ago :D

That's a nice looking case, hope you enjoy it.

True, but replacements aren't cheap.

True, but the point I was making was I'd never not get a case I was interested in solely because I didnt like the color of the fan's LED lights. It's the easiest thing to change on a case.

Very true and a point I reinforced earlier in this thread when Nunz made it, as well. I just hate to buy a case, rip out the fans and buy new ones when you could shop around and get the features you want stock.

Right now I'd jump on a HAF 932 if I had the cash, with the 1200 being second choice.
