2017 Audi S3 with Black Optics, Tech Package, and Bang and Olufsen sound, Magnetic Ride, Virtual Cockpit, and a few other goodies.

For those that don't know the Audi S3, is basically a Golf R in sedan form. It's the same platform/powertrain.

Probably one of the best cars I've owned. Such a joy to drive. The handling in this car hands down beats the Fiesta, and Focus ST I had before. I use to have an 08 A4 S-Line that I missed, but had to get rid of it as it was having a ton of problems.

Improved handling + Audi's interior quality.. can't beat that.

Hoping this Audi proves to be more reliable. Is there any remaining warranty on this one?

Nah, its at 52k miles. Still plenty of life none the less, the Golf R platform was pretty strong, hoping this one stays that way.

Nice. Couldn't find an '18 with the 7 speed DSG?

Get a rear sway bar ASAP, you'll love the car so much more.

I hope it is basically a VW though. Everyone I've ever known with an Audi had nothing but problems with them. My sister included. Then again, I own a Ford, and there's always something wrong with that damn thing too.

Very nice. I've heard the B&O sound system myself and it's a fantastically balanced system.

I've been looking at 2017 S6s.. they can be had for a good price. 4.0 turbo V8 is pretty sick.

Wasn't really a huge concern of mine, I primarily wanted a 2017 or newer for the facelift, android auto and the digital cockpit. After that it just was what had the color I wanted (blue, or white), magnetic ride, Bang and Olufsen sound, lowest mileage, and under 30k USD. Managed to get this one for 28k, books $34k so I think I got a pretty decent deal.

I will admit though, android auto without a touch interface is awful. Thank god it's voice commands are pretty good with spotify.

My wife's Explorer ST has the B&O as well, but its a 940 watt version in an explorer with 12 speakers. This is 13 speakers, 740 watts in a much smaller car... And I must say, it's the first car I cant max volume out. It will damage your ears. It's insane there is no distortion. I was impressed with hers enough to make it a must have feature on this car. This car just makes it rediculous.

Also I used the launch control for the first time. It gave me a headache, I was not ready for that amount of force to hold my neck back. I've had alot of fast cars (fully modded 12sec cobalt SS, LS2 GTO, Cammed LS1 GTO, Tuned Mazdaspeed 3, etc). I've never experienced anything like this, I can't wait to get a tune on it.

After over a year with my S3, I prefer the control knob to touch Android Auto. Reason being, navigating whatever you need to do on the interface is much more difficult with touch than the wheel, takes much more concentration.

Maybe I'm still learning it, and was spoiled by touch screens. I just really hate not being able to just touch the spotify logo playing at the bottom. Instead you have to scroll to the home button, then scroll to spotify. Am I missing something?

It's not THAT bad. But yeah, it's definitely a fun experience the first couple of times, and for anyone not use to it. I always wondered how much better it might have been with sticky tires, or if it would have made much difference (mine had zero perceptible wheelspin). It definitely hit above it's weight at the dragstrip.

I think I just had set my expectations alot lower than I should of. I did not expect that much difference in force vs a rolling pull. It hooked hard when I did it, or like you said. If it didn't it wasn't perceptible. Next few times I did it though and the tires didnt hold as well, granted the roads here are still wet, and extremely cold.

Ah...yeah, it way different than rolling. Absolutely right about that. I thought my Golf R felt slow from a roll (mine also had JB1 mod, ran 12.7) at nearly any speed, but it felt great from a dead stop using launch control. Totally different experience.
