Heads up for anyone still chugging along with an old X-Fi sound card.

Besides the usual updated driver/utilities the installer also lets you pick what you want to install which is nice.

It's too early to say if these drivers give me fewer problems than the official ones from creative did. I hope they are cause I had given up on dealing with losing my settings or sound.

Don't have any serious problems that I know of. Have a X-Fi Xtreme Gamer PCI.But tnx for the heads-up.:)
 
NIce, finally can replace his earlier x-fi pack. Glad to see the installer is fully optional now.

Still rocking the old x-fi extreme gamer.

The only component that stayed in my rigs since it came out. :drool:
