OnePlus 6T

Just launched a last week, did anyone pick this one up? I'm considering one to replace my Essential.

edit: Went and handled one at lunch, very nice phone. Bigger than my Essential, gorgeous screen, very sleek design. Unfortunately T-Mobile won't sell unlocked devices.

They had an awesome deal on these that expired last night, but I want unlocked too.

Every single account I've read about these would make me easily ditch the PH1 if not for that. I should have just bought it and told t-mo I'm going overseas. They have to unlock it then if I'm not mistaken.

They told me you have to have it on Tmobile for 90 days before it can be unlocked. Told me just to go to the manufacturer.

My wife won't let me get it right now :bleh: Maybe if I get a Christmas bonus I'll pick it up.

I'm pretty sure I would get "the look :bleh: if I tried to buy right now too.

Maybe Christmas.

If I'm a good boy :(

well, it's around 500 bucks over here, so not bad. Very well made too. I'd still prefer the Huawei Mate 20 pro, yes, i know it's pricier, but still.

$579US here in my area. I love the looks of it and now I want one and can't have it.

yet. :bleh:

I have the 6 non t, practically the same phone minus the in display fingerprint scanner and different shaped notch, and I definitely recommend it. Super fast and smooth, the camera is no slouch, great battery life, almost stock android, among other things.

Is yours dual sim? The t-mo version is single sim and the unlocked is dual sim.

That seems odd that a carrier would have a phone where that's the only difference. It's annoying lol. I'd rather have unlocked with dual sims.

Yes, dual sim. I bought it directly from OnePlus. 579$ 128 gigs of storage and 8 gigs or ram. Forgot about that :)

Thanks man, that will be the route I go too ...assuming the wife is good to me for the holidays this year lol. :D

I'll just chime in that I also have the non T One plus 6. Bought from Oneplus and loving it. Great phone coming from a guy that just uses it for "normal", not extreme phone use.

Really digging this phone. It's absurdly fast, the screen is gorgeous, and I really like the One plus Switch app.

Looks like 2 full days of usage is not going to be an issue with this phone. Really enjoy it so far. It's so thin and sleek too, a case is a must. The charger is 4A, and charges so fast, I can't imagine a need for the McLaren charger.

All of my problems with Android Auto on my Essential are gone, it's completely smooth and never crashes, and the phone doesn't get hot. Swipe typing also works perfectly, unlike on my Essential, where it was maybe 50% of the time where it worked correctly due to input lag.

Night mode on the camera works surprisingly well. It was pitch black when I took this picture, and shows more detail and color than I could even see.

This thing charges very fast, even in my truck plugged into Android Auto, usually get home with 100% juice after 20 minutes of driving. Use maybe 20% of the battery through the day while listening to podcasts and random browsing and gaming.

Yes, that is not what I was thinking it was, I have to much Nintendo on my brain it seems. lol

Thanks for clearing that up.
