Playstation 4 - News and Info

So are you telling us this is another game that you don’t like from the start. Quite surprising. :p.

Who said I didn't like it?

I clearly stated it was 40min first impressions. I gave an equal number of good and bad points, and my biggest complaints were the same things everyone else complained about.

I can tell its going to be a fun ride, with the familiar Rockstar presentation.

I can tell its going to be good. But right now the movement and terrible aiming are killing me.

PS5 dev kits are out in the wild. I guess PS5 is probably going to be 2021 release, but they could push it for 2020.

I'd say most likely 2020 release (2021 would be too far away). I think there is a small, small chance of 2019 release... but seeing as they delayed E3, I am thinking 2020.

Mostly what I've been hearing is 2020 release for PS5, 2020-2021 release for xbone2. Good point about e3 though... seems strange for Sony to skip if they're announcing new hardware.

E3 is pointless. It costs these companies millions to put on a show that they could fo for a fraction of the cost in their own venue and streaming conferences.

If true which it should be for PS4 since consoles are very much like PC upgrades now, I guess it may have been worth it to keep adding the PS3 content on ps+ free games even though I have never owned a PS3

Bought for $360 bonnerinos. Better late than sorry. :(

That’s very expensive. That bundle should be about 250 bucks tops.

It's a reasonable price considering taxes. I am not in a 1st world country. :bleh: Also, not even the US has a bundle like that. The best bundle in the US is the one with spiderman, which is around $320-330 with taxes.

Yeah, I think bc for PS4 games is guaranteed at this point. And PS2 bc is possible as long as Sony feels like doing it. PS3 is very challenging though, and will take a real break-thru to make it work.

Has anyone tried streaming PS3 games yet? How is the latency? I'm pretty particular about that.

Couple games I'm curious about? Shadow of the Colossus and the one that has a giant dog thingy as a companion. Are either of those worth a buy?

Anyone know why I may be unable to stream Amazon Prime in 4k using my PS4 Pro? Netflix has no problem, but Grand Tour only shows up as 1080P when selecting the UHD version. I checked with my built in TV App, and it streams it via 4k. It just doesn't work on the PS4.

Ideas?
