he may be 1st in line now, but he is also farthest from it. there are others much closer to 10 mil that, if they add 1-2 more systems, will give bleeder one hell of a challenge...

How about a race to 100 mil?
because there will only be one contender...
these competitions are meant to stimulate increases in production that may or may not last, but the goal is to keep overall team production growing and keep our teammates excited about folding.
i just don't see you quitting or letting production slip out of lack of interest

No, no quit here. I am slipping a bit though. I picked up a 2600k and all the parts over 3 months ago and it still sits in the shop waiting...

if you find your p3 800 sufficient, then i can understand
if you plan on overclocking that 2600k, you could increase your production by 33%!

Well, I am all for competition and I find it very cool that I'm considered the front runner by some with this one. But I would have to totally agree with Ryoko - given the current output by us folks below the 10 mil mark I could win this one but the thought is to give some extra motivation to you that are oh so very close to 10 mil to just get it on. (how's that for a run on sentence and bad grammar - I've had a couple tonight) lolI'm am certainly going to give it my all to keep this team in the top 30 and to be the next to 10 mil. So come on... bring it!

I will be happy to reach 1m let alone 10m
Next task for me is to get inside the top 100... Then reach 2m.
at your current rate, you'll reach 1m in 8 days, 2m in less than 2 months... if you can bump production to 30k ppd, you'll cut those times by 35%.

hm...203 days to reach 10mil... question: how many PPD can a $50 DX11 nvidia card can produce?

there aren't any computers at work that you could fold on? friends' computers? family?
as far as $50 nvidia cards are concerned, the 240 does around 4k. you could also get a 520, but it looks like it isn't as powerful as the 240...

if they let me to do it, i would have.
Money is VERY tight at the moment, one more set of computer to fold is next to impossible. $50~$60 is all i could spend on hardware to boost my production.
