Radeon power usage

I have a question about Radeon cards: how much watts they use while running? For example GeForce 256 uses 16W, GeForce 2 GTS uses 8W and GeForce 2 MX uses 4W.

I'm interested because I want to know if I need to upgrade my motherboard or not (my current motherboard is Asus P2L97).

I don't know the powerusage it takes.
Isn't is funny that the V5 needs an extra power connector and the RADEON doesn't but the RADEON is still faster?

I mean, what "does" the V5 need extra power for?

Seems like I have seem that tested and I believe it is closer to the MX than the GTS. Definitely nothing like the V5 though and no worse than 6 W.
 
I don't know where I saw this but I remember:
Geforce MX - 4W
ATI RADEON - 6W
Geforce 2 - 8W
Gefore - 12W
