I find your lack of proper Sey formatting both wrong and sexually frustrating gai.

Don't be like pax be like sey and make release note formatting great again :D

Hmm I see what you mean... but you have to realize Im ****ing lazy.

These mustn't be WHQL drivers as when I tried to update through Radeon settings it said I was up to date. I'll just download them and install I guess.

You can do it through Radeon Settings when you select "Recommended + Optional" for "Preferred Software Version".

Has anyone tried these? Did they break anything?

TBH these drivers have screwed up my audio. When I start the PC there is no sound and I have to run the troubleshooter which says the default sound system has changed. When I tell it to fix it it's fine until the next time I boot in. My main audio is onboard sound but it tries to set it as AMD HDMI WTF?

Come on AMD fix this POS.

Try disabling HDMI audio?

This behavior is controlled by Windows as it randomly happens on Nvidia and Intel (onboard) GPUs as well . You need to disable the HDMI audio as supergeil suggested. You may also want to try and disable fast startup if you don't have it disabled already, as it is a hybrid hibernation which does not always properly detect hardware when you restart or it loads improper settings, causing it to use which every audio device it detects as active, which tends to be the HDMI due to the monitor, even if the monitor doesn't support audio, but the connection does. Fast startup is one of the leading causes of driver issues. (I have always disabled it from the get go on fresh installations because of this)
