Support For

Radeon™ RX 6800 Series
World of Warcraft: Shadowlands
Added Vulkan® Support
VK_KHR_fragment_shading_rate
This extension provides the ability to change the shading rate per fragment. This extension allows for multiple pixels to be shaded via a single fragment shader invocation as opposed to the normal rate of one invocation per pixel.

Fixed Issues

Enabling Record Desktop and Instant Replay may cause hitching or stutter during fullscreen video playback on some system configurations.

Custom fan settings may not retain after waking from sleep on Radeon RX 500 series graphics products.

Graphical glitching may occur on Radeon RX 500 series graphics products when at idle or at desktop with multiple high refresh rate Radeon FreeSync displays connected.

Disabling performance metrics overlay while in game can sometimes cause frame freeze or stuttering.

Lower than expected performance may be experienced on Radeon RX 5700 series graphics products in Xuan-Yuan Sword VII™.

Mouse corruption may be experienced when changing graphics options to Vulkan® API in Serious Sam 4™.

Corruption may be visible on some surfaces in Far Cry™ Primal on Radeon RX 5000 series graphics products.

You forgot the known issues  Second one is quite funny. Enhanced sync is also an interesting one although I've never used it myself.

Known Issues

- Brightness flickering may intermittently occur in some games when Radeon FreeSync is enabled, and the game is set to use borderless fullscreen.
- Metro Exodus™, Shadow of the Tomb Raider™, Battlefield™ V, Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War may experience intermittent application crashes with DirectX® Raytracing enabled. - Anisotropic Filtering in Radeon Software graphics settings is not taking effect in DirexctX®9 applications on RDNA graphics products.
- Crysis™ Remastered may experience corruption on character models on Radeon RX 6800 Series graphics products.
- World of Warcraft: Shadowlands may fail to launch when DirectX®12 API is selected on Windows®7 system configurations.
- Some games may experience stuttering when set to borderless fullscreen and an extended display is connected running the Netflix™ windows store application on RDNA graphics products.
- Radeon recording and streaming features may fail to enable on AMD Radeon HD 7800 series graphics products.
- Screen space reflections may appear with flickering corruption in Battlefield™ V on RDNA graphics products.
-Modifying the HDMI Scaling slider may cause FPS to become locked to 30. -Performance Metrics Overlay and the Performance Tuning tab incorrectly report higher than expected idle clock speeds on Radeon RX 5700 series graphics products. Performance and power consumption are not impacted by this incorrect reporting.
-Enhanced Sync may cause a black screen to occur when enabled on some games and system configurations. Any users who may be experiencing issues with Enhanced Sync enabled should disable it as a temporary workaround.

He does that a lot :bleh2:

This new driver states:

Metro Exodus™, Shadow of the Tomb Raider™, Battlefield™ V, Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War may experience intermittent application crashes with DirectX® Raytracing enabled.

'May' or 'Intermittent' means to me it doesn't work. Like the 5700 BSOD at launch it's a major driver issue that has plagued AMD for ages at launch. Why can't they get their drivers running day one with new launches it really is embarrassing. So you buy a nice new card that is held back by cra**y drivers. Really?

I am pretty sure that those are all NVidia sponsored titles. Could it be possible that they don't comply fully to the DXR specification and using non spec instructions that is only supported on Nvidia, which is causing the issues with AMD raytracing? Also IIRC, Nvidia had issues with raytracing when the 2000 series was released, or rather when the patches where released for the games to support ray tracing. This is AMD's first rendition of it, so issues are and should be expected.

Specially if this is correct (pax posted it in the topic):

I know that they say that these game fully support DXR, but knowing NVidia sponsored them, specifically for Raytracing, I wouldn't count on that being 100% true.

Add to the issues - Watch Dogs Legions = Broken using these drivers, after a few minutes shaders/water tank your GPU. Just rolled back and can play again.

I've also heard a lot of 5XX owners say don't download this driver it's a nightmare. Don't need it so staying well clear.

Had some problems with getting these installed. But after using amd remove tool and then running an sfc, which found some problems, installing them worked great.

So new cards out drivers not working as they should. Before anyone jumps in I'm saying not working as they should ergo they may or may not crash. This has been rinse and repeat seen the Fury days

Read what he said again.. he had to run sfc, which is strictly for windows to find protected system file corruption. The drivers wouldn't install because he had windows protected system file corruption which could be caused from a dozen different things, and he said they installed and worked great once that was corrected.

Exactly.

I think the problem was i was running my 3900X with 1866MHz FCLK which caused the system to have serious crashes randomly. That again would be my bet was the cause of my problems.

Over at guru3d a few people are having issues with usb when installing this driver.
It seem there is a new usb LED driver that may freak out during installation if certain other usb devices are present.

Enough of a kerfuffle to make me wait for the next driver... unless this driver performs some kind if performance miracle for my5700xt I can wait

That's odd. The GPU driver shouldn't have anything to do with USB. That would be the Chipset drivers.

USB driver for RGB crap, look in your driver install directory apparently there is a new usb led driver.
