Reputation Spreading

Is there a way to decrease the amount of "having to spread rep" before being able to add to the same people again? I've wanted to rep several people sometimes, but it constantly gives me that message, and there are only a limited number of posts that I would rep. I would sometimes like them to know I approve of their posts without having to quote and put "This", or ".", or something lame.
 
Probably not going to happen as its there to prevent spamming the same person over and over.

We are even lucky to have rep back at all. :bleh:
 
Come on, I was just wanting a way to like people's posts without having to post "Good one!" or some crap. I don't care about the check marks it shows. Or the credit rating, I just know I wanted to recently when curio posted something funny in the San Bernadino thread and just couldn't.

I'll take my ball and go home. :mad:

WOW...I can see how you took my comment the wrong way. I was actually giving meteor crap with mine. Sorry! :) I like the rep system but do not think it will get updated any time soon. :(
