RiMS - motorcycle sim with racing good?

Steam reviews suggest it's hit or miss. I've always stuck to the MotoGP franchise and I love that, but I haven't dared venture beyond it. So, try at your own risk, I'd say. Wait for a sale and keep an eye on your Time Played (two hours for a refund).

A bit off topic, but I've never really gotten the appeal of motorcycle racing games. Somehow I can find a car racing video game more immersive than motorcycles, when playing with a controller on a flat screen.

When I was a kid, I did really enjoy the handful of times I got to play a sit-down Hang-on cabinet, where you control the bike by leaning side-to-side. I feel like you could pair that with VR goggles and have something truly amazing.

Yeah I agree to a point. No one has done a real motorcycle sim yet BUT I just recently found something that is the best motorcycle sim to date.

It isn't a looker but it is viewed as the best in sim'ness, and after trying the demo, I agree.
If you try the demo change the Direct Lean to 60-80, this is the important setting IMO.
Mods greatly improve the visuals but won't work in the demo version fyi.
