Earlier this week we began made some hosting changes to the website in response to a series of DDoS attacks targeting Rage3D. These changes may have impacted site functionality in different ways.

This thread is an opportunity for the members to help identify functionality issues, so we can resolve them. Please post any site specific issues you're having, so we can eliminate them. You may experience some site down time, as we go through this process.

Thanks for your feedback and patience.

8/16 edit: YT fixed (not hosting change issue, switched from embed to iframe)

I posted a couple of weeks ago about random logouts, just before the DDoS attacks. It's been happening again fairly frequently since. Just before this post again as a matter of fact. I don't know if it's related - or a mod messing with me :p ....

edit: Happened as I tried to post this. I had been logged in about a minute...

I mentioned in that thread, but Firefox on windows 10 and Chrome on a phone both show the embedded players fine for me.

Could be an issue with an update pushed for some browsers or something.

EDIT: maybe it's something becoming deprecated or something with the way youtube is showing their player on sites that embed, doesn't seem to work with MS Edge on the same win10 machine.

doesn't work with internet explorer MS edge and chrome on windows 10 for me on both my nv and amd systems

This issue is unrelated to the maintenance done. I've switched out the code, from embed to iframe, so it should work again. It will no longer look quite the same, but works in Chrome again.

Working here, just has a blue border around the video. Nothing stylish can't fix :D

EDIT: Chrome 52 + Win10 14383

EDIT 2: YAY HTML5!

EDIT 3: Updated stylish, remove border.

Yes. finally Chrome is using html5 instead of it's builtin flash plugin. good riddance even if it's Chrome's own flash.

This isn't happening to anyone else? At all? My win7 laptop, my win10 laptop, my mbp OSX, my ipad - at home or away on another network - constant random logouts, repeatable, all day every day. :(
