somehow she got a hold of my ds and decided it would be fun to drop it in the toilet :bleh:
think it would be ethical to bring it back to ebgames for the product replacement plan?

Sure would, thats why you pay that extra money for a plan.

Doh. Hah, at least you had the replacement plan to fall back on. My kids are always after the DS. Toilet though heh at least it makes for a good story for friends and family.

Let it dry for 24 hours in a warm spot. For faster drying, take it apart. It should work just fine.

Yeah, I dunno about the DS but I remember reading stories of people doing all sorts of damage to the different gameboys and they'd take a licking and keep on ticking.

Nintendo builds'em strong.

i got a phat ds and its had alot of punishment over its life. Only damage is the touchscreen seems to be slight off on the left hand side. Tried to recalibrate but no luck.

If you let it completely dry without turning it on there is a possibility it might still work... I've gotten lucky with some electronics that way.

so i let it dry for a few days but no luck :(
i went to ebgames and they gave me a new one, all the guy asked was "did you drop it?", obviously i said no :p
i had to renew the prp, i hope nothing like this happen about a year from now :bleh:

My son is on his second DS lite with bestbuys replacement plan. The last time he took it back with a completely smashed screen, and they still replaced it. I was surprised. Anyway, we always buy that replacement plan, best money spent in my book.
