Star Trek Bridge Commander and Voice Support

I got Bridge Commander today and i must say it's a great game (if you like Star Trek). The bridge station is very well simulated and lots of fun. The graphics are also very nice on my Radeon7200 (everything maxed).

I read that Bridge Commander can also be controlled by voice.
Saying "Number One, status report" and "Set a course to planet xx" would make this game even more realistic and fun to play.
Unfortunately i haven't been able to use this option.
Has anyone succeeded in controlling this game with the voice-support (using WinXP)?

Please share how to set it up correctly,..cause i'm dying to say "Goto Warp" in this game:cool:

I got the voice commands working!
And it's very cool indeed (i can call the posts by name like "Ensign blabla, Report" or "Tactical, Status" and commands like "Red Alert!". Also full lines are possible like "Goto warp now!"

For the ones interested here's a way to do it.
On the game cd (D:\Setup\Vat Profiles) there are voice profiles for known voice programs such as Game Voice and Game Commander.
I used Game Commander, but you can use other voice programs as well.
Install Game Commander, apply the profile and done; The game can be played with just your voice only!

I'm off to my bridge;)

Oh my goodness, I was aware that this was technically possible, but I hadn't considered the effect this would have on a game for a long time. Thanks for mentioning this!
