STOP WITH THE DARK BLUE TEXT ON BLACK BACKGROUND!

...had to get the off my chest. Can't rage3d do soemthing about these HARD to read colors?
 
I agree.

This board's appearance and usability are pathetic.

But I figured out why this punk mess continues is due to the fact that the operators and most of this board's visitors connect to it through web-tv.

I know a little kid with web-tv who visits here and when asked, he thought this site looked "cool".

Obviously, this site was designed for web-tv and looks good in that format on the big tv screen in the family room.

Anyway, why would anyone who puts up with ATI's drivers give a crap about functionality ?

i have rage fury (rage128) and viewsonic PF790 (19") on win2k pro running 1152x864 res @ 85hz

my contrast is 100% and brightness at 50%

and the board looks almost perfectly fine to me

if you need a super high contrast color set for your eyes like yellow on black or something then i will make it available. you can then change the color scheme through your profile->edit options
 
You can select the gay look in your profile, that has a white background. I think it should be edited to match the theme of the site though, hopefully not as gay.

I never noticed that I could reset view from default to white, and the white setting is perfectly and quickly legible.

My Radeon 32ddr/Viewsonic PS790 10x7@85hz is not the problem, It's just that your default color scheme is less legible and workable than the default views on the other boards that I visit.

Flying through several boards every day, my swing through this board has always been painful and frustrating, but not anymore !
