That daily game progress thread...

Got up to Chapter 3 in Dead Space. Really loving it. Game scared the **** out of me last night @ 11 PM headphones on and all lights off.. something jumped me from behind.

Just bought ME 1 and ME 2. Going to begin my ME adventures now! :)
Been waiting to find these on sale. Steam always comes through for me.

If you are an RPG fan, and you want to enjoy ME2 to its fullest, you should play it BEFORE ME1... you wont really spoil anything, there are a few references to things you would already know through osmosis of the internet as it is. Plus you get the added bonus of seeing how ME2 changes when you load a save from ME1, which you wont see if you play ME1 first ;)

Played a round of Supreme Commander. Learned playing 12 shields around an experimental resource generator stops a nuke. (Dangit)

Re-installed Stranglehold, beat it when it was new but tried it in 3D, actually works in 3D which is noteworthy in itself, but also quite fun in 3D.

Played a few levels of Serious Sam HD: Second Encounter. Quite a fun game. (not in 3D)

Console: Continued playing Wipeout HD, I beat as few tracks every night before bed.

It is essentially the only reason to own NWN2. ;)

You are wrong. ;) The main NWN2 campaign is just as good. Different, but equally good. Didn't you play through masterpiece that was the Ammon Jerro haven? Or the masterpiece that was the Ember massacre trial?

Maybe it's a worse game if you play as an evil character, but I was a lawful good paladin and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.

Finished the Circle Tower quest on my Nightmare Dragon Age playthrough as a Archery Rogue.
For some reason its easier this time around than playing a melee rogue on normal.

I die quite enough on hard, so kudos to you for being able to make your way through nightmare. :D

I'll let you know when I get to the Revenants in the forest. Might have to knock it back a couple of difficulty settings there :D

if you just go to all the areas first, then go back and play through normally, all the npcs will be low level when you actually get to them.

Been playing Mass Effect 2 for the the last 2 months. Steam says 205 hours sunk into it. I think I may play something else after this solider run. I may start Dragon Age and its new addon. But today im still playing Mass Effect 2.

Not to question how someone can play 205 hours of ME2...

Anyways, finished BioShock 2 today and steam reported 16 hours playtime. I am sure it was 11-12 hours since there were 3 patches that took 3 hours to download and once I left BioShock 2 on for about an hour. Fantastic game with an epic ending. Loved it. Don't know why I held off to playing this game. Stays true to the original and very cool storyline.

Also started FO3 GOTY edition and enjoyed the birthday party :p.

Will pump some Alan Wake and Red Dead Redemption tonight.

Only reason I played games on a weekday is because I called in sick today. :bleh:

Slowly progressing through Mass Effect 1. Really enjoying the game, the ****ty combat is getting on my nerves though.. Keep dying. I was a pro in DA and KOTOR.. wtf!

Just finished The Witcher last night. What an awesome game. Can't wait for #2. Before the Witcher I played Mass Effect 2, then Dragon Age and the expansion, then Mass Effect 1. Had a great run that's for sure. :)
Now looking for something new to play, was thinking of Stalker.

-Replaying Arcanum with a tech build.
-Replaying System Shock 2 with texture mod.
-Just started Dragon Age Awakening.
-About 1/3rd into Red Dead Redemption.

Beat ME2 the day before yesterday. Around 60% completion with Burnout Paradise. Found all the billboards and fences and 43 out of 50 Super Jumps.:bleh:

Once you get to a decent level and have the good guns and armor (spectre gear) you basically don't die. Also with ME 1 pistols crap all over assault rifles. Especially if your an inflitrator.

I'm a Vanguard. Not too good with the use of Biotics.. and since I am only trained for Shotguns and Pistols it really limits my choices.

By the way, with the armor.. Spectre Gear? I heard Captain Anderson say something about that after I became a Spectre... I found a requisitions officer there, but the armor was worse then mine (Using Scorpion I light armor) and that was a Onyx III.

How do you tell between Spectre gear and regular?
