You're on a 520watt BIOS right? Or 500? I need those 50watts.. Port Royal scales so well with power
 
Nah I actually flashed to Gigabyte OC BIOS with 2-pin to get around stupid FTW balancing issues
 
Hahaha. ****ing send it. I've heard of people doing that ****. The FTW3 is ridiculous this generation.

I don't know if the 2x 8pin helps with the STRIX though
 
Nah it won't help the Strix. By using a 2-pin BIOS on the FTW it only balances total load across the first 2 pins, leaving 3rd pin uncapped.
 
Probably set fan speeds to 100%. Side panel off maybe? Depends how low the ambient is in his room.

It's a chilly morning, yeh. Fans at 80% (higher makes them bug out with 2pin BIOS). Side panel on, everything else as per normal.

Can someone link me to the FTW3 bios that doesn’t give red lights of death. Also are you gays using Re-BAR?
 
Tried the 500 watts XOC bios w/ ReBAR.

Amazing performance gains dude! :bleh: So basically Nunz paid $1.58 per point to watercool (assuming $1000 for equipment) and get that score.
My card is seriously gimped though as it doesn't even run 2000 MHz stable in PR. Runs about 2025 MHz in games.

Apparently the GALAX 1000w BIOS works for the STRIX. I'll be testing it out later today .. should easily get me 15k.
