Tiny Combat Arena - a new 90s styled combat flight "sim" game

I've bought it but won't get to try it for at least a few days. Been watching it for a while and have high hopes.

Also waiting for Gunner, Heat, PC. Different but also harking back to the golden days of Microsoft.

Feels like the cut off date for the look that they are going for is 1991.

It really does look similar to what you would expect from a sim that was released somewhere between 1989-1991.

USN Fighters looked better than this and that was DOS. :bleh:
No it's not, I watched Janes's Fighters Anthology let's play recently and it looks worse than this...

Also this is not made by Microprobe, this actually comes from a SINGLE developer, it's an indie game made by a guy.

This looks cool, but wish they had more than just the harrier as the only flyable plane, so no a buy at least for now.

I also played Jane's sims back in the day. Jane's ATF which I think was a little older USN Fighters I think. I had fun, but was only a kid at the time so hardly any clue what I was doing. So often resorted to ingame cheats, which was just of the part of the default menu I think.

Nope, USNF (1994) came before ATF (1996).

Sadly, no plans for VR which is a huge shame. I've never played a sim that wasn't improved by VR so I'm hoping further down the road the developer might rethink or the community might step in.
