I went for one, a rescue. Found out the 2 brothers were tightly bonded, so meet Phirrgus and Ben :)

good for you

it's not good to be without dogs

So true.

These 2 are a handful lol

Edit: To the shelter’s knowledge and their short history, these guys have never lived in a house before. I spent almost every waking hour with them both yesterday, and this morning the separation anxiety is real  I go to the bathroom and they cry until I come out lol.

They’ll be fine. They’re already coming out of their shells. Resilient pups :)

Clicked on this link expecting to see more grand children, found dogs instead.

Congrats, those pups are good looking pups. They look like they'll be fun.

Congratulations to you, Ben and Phirrgus for finding each other, Phil. :)

Is Phirrgus on the left and Ben on the right? Also, I have to ask—do you have artificial turf in your home, or are the dogs standing inside the shelter building?

Ben is left, Phirrgus right, and yes that’s about 30 minutes after we met at the shelter. We were in the truck and on the way home not long after :)

No thanks :p

We’re settling into a routine with these 2 already. Biggest issues are PTSD and the fact that they’ve never lived in a house before. Kill shelter>rescue>crate>kill shelter rinse/repeat.

Time, time and more time, treats, lots of love and a solid, regular routine.

They’ll be ok.

You're a good man Lazy.
Here's hoping those two pups will eventually allow you to be Lazy...but I see many steps and poop bags in your immediate future.
