Forget overclockers and Scan they took thousands of preorders for the 3080 and some are getting emails saying it might be February 2021 before their card arrives. Scan has 1,500 preorders to fulfill and overclockers probably twice that. They have both advised that they won't be selling any new stock until the preorders have been fulfilled. Ebuyer are the same.
I know CCl Online (based in Leeds) get stock which goes straight online in fact I had two notifications from them this morning for a Palit Gaming Pro 3080 and a Palit Gamerock 3080. You have to go on their website and complete the notify me section and they will send you alerts. Unfortunatley unless you're F5 ing the website when the alert goes out the bots will beat you. I've had about six notifications in last three weeks and got nowhere. They currently have a few 3090's for sale and they've been up for over an hour and still available.
You can also try Box UK, Novatech and even Currys get stock but I don't think any of these ones have any bot protection so chanches will be slim.
I bought a 3090 from Awd-IT who I'd never heard of, on Tuesday at 9.00 p.m. Arrived at my office 9.50 a.m. this morning. Impressed.
The 3090's are pretty much readily available on lots of sites including Scan when stock is available and because of the cost the scalpers don't seem really interested so no trouble picking one up. Even had a nowinstock alert for 3090 pop up this morning for Currys, so I went and checked and there were a couple of Gigabyte and Asus models freely available to buy.
If you just want a 3080 you'll be in for a very frustrating time. Your only choices are to register with discord or nowinstock and hope for the best when the alert comes through. Unfortunately the 3080 is very sought after by the scalpers.
Your other option is to give it a complete miss until about Feb 2021 when hopefully supply is much better. I couldn't be bothered waiting which is why I bought the 3090
