I couldn't just pick one definitive favorite, but my favorite 3 systems are the SNES, the Saturn, and the TurboDuo. I've played these 3 consoles more than any other (and I have most of them).
I like NES due to its classic games like Mario 1, 2, 3, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1, 2, 3, and Megaman 1, 2, 3.
SNES had upgraded versions of NES like the Megaman X series, Turtles in Time, Super Mario All-Stars, Mario Kart, and all that.
Sega Master system also had a few fun games like Bubble Bobble and a game sorta like Pong but you are trying to destroy a house or something like that. Anyone remember the name of the game?
ive been saying for years, nothing can touch NES. i still play it every day, i even put one in my car. super sprint, punch out, tiger heli, street fighter. the list goes on. a close second is the very oldschool atari, california games baby.
PlayStation, closely followed by PlayStation 2. Am I a Sony zealot? No. They are the only two consoles with Tekken and Gran Turismo on them. I was playing PC games when SNES and MEga Drive were out (F19 and Wing Commander 1/2 rocked back in the day), and still have and old 386 in the house purely to play Speedball.
The Genesis is my favorite followed by the Dreamcast. Yeah Phantasy Star Online Version 2 is coming out for the GameCube but it will be basically the same as the Dreamcast Version coming out sooner. (Obviously it will have more features and stuff though but graphically =)I will only get a GameCube is if all of SEGA's 2k3 sports titles are on it. I heard only NFL2k2 and NBA 2k2 will be on it this year. Those will also be the Dreamcast though. \\Ok got off track, Genesis is my favorite.
Ah, the good ol' days! I got the NES for my 6th birthday, and I soon got really addicted to it. It had awesome, simple games, but that was then and this is now, so I'm really looking forward to the GAMECUBE!
NES - first games I got were Legend of Zelda and Castlevania...then a few days later Mike Tyson's punchout~!. Genesis is my second favorite....had the best sports games by far...John Madden football, Lakers vs. Celtics and the NBA playoffs.....never really got into SNES because I started losing interest in consoles after Genesis.
