What's the last movie you saw?

the last movie i watched was Oppenheimer. 5/10

it was a bore about his love life and womanising, hardly anything about the bomb and the effects were crap


each nolan film gets worst than the one before over the last few years
 
Godzilla Minus One. Never been that big a Godzilla fan but this was pretty damn good and considering the budget looked great.

i forgot what it was called and saw Godzilla Shin and paid to watch...

utter crap, amazon uk advertised it on the firestick as 2022... it was badly dubbed with no subtitles or japanese. i gave up after 15 mins
 
Knox Goes Away

I liked it. Michael Keaton plays a hitman who has rapidly progressing dementia. He has to figure out how to solve his remaining problems as his memory fails him.
 
Not a movie, but saw a play over the weekend. Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812. Frankly, I expected more from the comet given its billing. Stupid cameo. Hah.

But basically, a chapter from War and Peace with a modern storytelling flair. Entire thing is sung... no dialog. My favorite number is the Prologue... it's catchy and introduces you to all the characters one at a time, then adding them to the refrain.

Civil War: 7-10 bangs. Not a war movie but a decent perspective from the typical war photo journalist's perspective. Not great on the action scenes but good sound work and some tense moments.
