Why so many banners for Rage3d?

I'm just wondering, I try to help by doing click-throughs on the ads, but 75% of the time, the ads I get are for this very forum, and I guess you don't get money for us clicking on your name... Why does this happen so often?

No they aren't, most of the ads are for other things.

No, we don't get paid for that.

It's not under our control.

they are default banners, when rage3d fills all # of banners advertisers requested we start displaying default non-paying banners
