Will Deep Down See The Light of Day?

Its been a long time, five years i believe. It was suppose to herald in the ps4 as a post launch title. But what happened to it? Capcom has extended the trademark, but apparently not any closer to release. I remember reading from one of the developers that after the second year, he indicated the game would be substantially different from what everyone had previously seen. Fast forward to 2018...

edit: seems capcom extended the trademark once again in june of 2018.

I would love to see a surprise announcement. This really piqued my interest when it was first announced.

I had forgotten about this game, but now remembering I thought it looked interesting. Looked like a cross between Dark Souls, and Dead Space because of the closed in FOV. Hopefully it will eventually get released and be worth the wait.

i was really surprised when the devs announced a free-to-play model a few years back. now it seems they've redesigned the whole ip. i guess its good news they reenlisted the trademark for a second time. also isn't capcom working on a late 2018 game release that is currently unannounced?
