X360 controller issues

Not sure if this belongs here, or not. But I use a X360 controller on PC via USB and today I noticed my right stick axis up/down doesn't work. Left-right (pan camera) works fine? Anyone ever heard of anything like this? Not much help through the old google machine.

Sounds like a broken controller to me. Time to upgrade to an Xbox One controller. Far better anyways, and has a Bluetooth model.

I actually have a bluetooth one that I bought but never sold after I sold my Xbone. Do you know if any blueooth adapter works? Or do I need the actual Xbox Windows adapter thats $25 smackaroos? This is the one I have.

Try it on a different computer, if same thing occurs it's broken.

Didn't try that but I did try unplugging, replugging, etc, and went to

http://html5gamepad.com/

and it shows axis 3, no response, everything else works. It's weird it worked the last time I used it and it hasn't been dropped or anything.

I use the built in Bluetooth on my laptop with no issue. It works great.

I did buy a m.2 WiFi (dual band AC intel 8265) + bluetooth module for my motherboard, I just have the wrong antennas. Maybe I'll just pick up the correct antennas and go that route then.

Thanks!

take it to a game stop and ask them to hook it up to their machine it will test the controller...
