Explorer is fast, more stable and easier to code for. What freaking more do you want? I hate when people use inferior products just because of some moral values or some stupid **** like that.
I forget what it stands for, but "CRAP" is an acronym for some techniques for good user interfaces. I agree, MousePotato.MousePotato said:I have just finished deleting Netscape 6.1
one word for it... CRAP

I use both all the time. So far with Netscape 6 it has only quit once with out trying to take the whole OS with it like IE does. Then again I use Linux/XP and Mac so I like to get around.
And if you coded for Netscape first, then you'd have to go back and do IE-ification. Again, standards are the key.**G.I.BRO** said:IM talking more or less about coding.....I always have to go back and do netscapeification the work i do ( takes WAY too long ).
Quit assuming that what was true for Netscape 4.x (which sucked, I admit) is true for Netscape 6/Mozilla.Pojo said:
Thats the thing you dont have to do that. Its only Nutscape that has issues. By some magical force IE would not have any issues with tweaked code that Netscape requires. Overall IE is just easier to work with because its very very very rare for it to have any issues. It can do more with less code. I wont even go into serious resizing issues NS has and its crap support for styles. You have to be crazy to use Netscape if IE is and option.
The real issue is that web developer apps produce code that works with IE and in most cases needs extra special additions to get around bugs in NS. I dont want to add extra code and slow everything down. Forget NS if they cant make a good browser then they deserve to die. I am for one very glad that **** browser is gone.
