2011 christmas folding build

Thought i would share my christmas build with u all .
here is the parts list
CORSAIR H100 (CWCH100) Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler
Intel core i7 3930k
gigabyte g1assassin2 2011 mobo
16 gig cosair dominator 1866 1.5v
thermaltake tp1500m
cosair 400r case (hope this works out )
cosair force series 3 120ssd
samsung blue ray
PNY XLR8 VCGGTX580XPB-LC GeForce GTX 580 (Fermi) 1536MB 384-bit GDDR5
This pc has 2 jobs fold 24/7 and play my movies on the big screen .
Everything is in the ups pipeline tracking shows it will be here today tue,wed
I will post pictures as i get it all ,then the build ,and how it does as a folding rig. :drool:

let me know how it goes, and if possible, how it does with SMP only, as i might jump the gun and get 2 SB-E xeons with the 2011 sr-2...
 
looking foward to how the cooling is going to work under 24/7 load .
Im going to try to post pic and all the temp and folding #
never used the all in one cooling before.
 
got the motherboard yesterday. I see a pile of stuff at the front door i will get some pic up tonight. Starting to get excited new stuff:D

my old puter with a 920 at 4.2 and a 480 around 30000ppd hopeing this next gen is as big a jump as that one was

lup did you get better cooling setting up to push air into case or pulling to outside.

have the mobo in , psu, cooler and mem , waiting on parts . i have a bunch of pic but i will have to post them tomorrow.

whew the cpu plug is close but it all fits woot woot .

waiting on cpu,gpu and ssd

isn't closed-water coolers do better when air is pushed outside the case? we got an H70 pushed outside and it seems cooler :)

and yes, we're waiting for the pics :drool:

I only had one real thing to complain about . The power supply at this price should be much better were the wires come out of the ps .

The cooler is very close to the ram clips and the cpu plug is verry close.

sorry the pic are not the best me and my phone are on a learning curve lol

the gpu,cpu,ssd and blue drive are all out for del woot woot :D
 
Awesome rig hotwired :up: What case is that? And that PNY GTX 580 comes with a separate Asetek closed loop liquid cooler IIRC - where do you plan on mounting that?

Man I can't wait to upgrade; but I just spent my xtra money on my HT system. I should have the money again once the IB-E's come out next year.

Corsair R 400 ,Yes the gpu has its own closed loop cooling with enough room for three one in back the other on door I hope

nothing on the gpu yet just smp windows .

on a good note everything works :D

that's incredible for just one client! hell, both my oced 2600ks combined produce only a few k ppd more than that...
 
just some quick stats

smp this morn was just under 60000 ppd with a temp of 67c on low at 4.5

playing with the gpu this morning seem like the gpu will do 20000 ppd at 51c
even though its taking the cpu down to 40000 ppd so its a wash in my book .
also pushed the cpu to 71c pretty quick. I will get some screen shots as soon as i can .
