A Plague Tale: Innocence

It is horrible and it ruins the game that is otherwise well done.
That's assuming you know what French accents were like back in the 1300's. Regardless that's a pretty ridiculous thing to get hung up on IMO.

And the kid being annoying is pretty accurate because many kids can be and are annoying. He's just doing what young kids do.

I don't think the kid is too bad. For most of the game he's kinda endearing. Things go off the rails a bit near the end but it sort of pulls itself together.

After a while in the game you get a pause form the kid which kind of good. Then you can focus on what the game is a about, rat hoarding.

Will be playing this game next. Just wanted to get some opinions on whether the game is better with a controller or mouse and keyboard.

I played with a controller but thought some of the action systems did require precise aiming. So maybe M+K would have been better.

Just completed chapter 1. Looks like this is going to be an awesome game.

By the way, playing with mouse and keyboard.

It really is a fantastic game. Absolutely loved it. Just enough challenge to keep it from being easy. Gradually introduce new concepts throughout the game really. Great characters.

I just completed this game today. Took me 15 hours 17 minutes to complete it. What a fantastic game that was, enjoyed every minute of it. I died like 15 time in the final scene, it was tough.

Everything about this game was top notch. The graphics, the story line, game play , voice acting.

I hope they come out with another similar game.

Great game this was.

After this I decided to try Hellblade. Big mistake. Uninstalled after the first 15 minutes.

Blasphemy :p

That is alright, I still absolutely love Hellblade and very excited for the sequel.

rejoice because a sequel is on the way

:yahoo:

I was tempted to start a second play through right away, but I have other games I really need to finish up, and honestly the game felt intense, in a good way, for me so I need to have a break before doing it again :D

Just finished the demo.

Impressive stuff. Seems beautifully crafted as linear, single player story driven game.

Its on my Wishlist at GoG.com.

Took me a while to get into hellblade, though it was crap myself in the beginning but by the end it was one of the best game i have played and is 100 times better than A Plague Tale which became too repetitive
