I finished it last week playing it on GamePass. When I first started it, I was afraid it was going to end up being one big escort mission. But that's not the case. It ended up being an enjoyable game, despite its rather depressing theme.

they are two absolut complete different games. Can't really compare both. They are both great for what they are. Personally loved Hellblade.

I just started plague tale and hellblade at the same time.
Plague looks like it's going to be a fun story, but I hope I'm not escorting the kid all the way through. The stealth aspect cracks me up and reminds me of the thief franchise. You're right in their faces and nobody can see you.
Hellblade isn't making sense 1hr in. Does this get good? Walk walk walk, same old voices, mash buttons kill whomever, walk walk walk ??

I didn't think much of hellblade at first and also played it for about an hour and didn't touch it again for probably a year. Decided a few months ago to just try it again and became so much better, the puzzles are very well done. I would suggest play with headphones, makes it much better
Plague Tale is fun. You can up the difficulty for a challenge. You will not be escorting the kid throughout. Also the kid is not a nuisance at all.
Hellblade doesn’t get any better. You will continue to hear that constipated voice throughout the game. Puzzles in the game are garbage and combat is so bad I wanted to just not indulge in it. Snail pace walking, long cutscenes of nothing and atrocious controls are in your future. If you like to spend time with women who are perpetually on their period and want to listen to their idiotic voices / words / thoughts then you will enjoy it like Eisberg and Silent Runner.

You pretty much described my first hour experience with Hellblade. I'll give it another hour to try it out.
Plague Tale looks fun I'll finish it first. I remember the thief franchise where the guards would practically have their heads up your ars and still couldn't spot you. I got the same LOL feeling playing plague tale.
I brought bloom and chromatic aberation to low and is ok now.
I am really pissed this was done with consolles controller in mind.The control is screwy and laggy.
The difference between a Doom game and this console-made is huge.
All this console-made make me do mistakes more often..
This console stuff makes the game harder.I am used to a-Doom like response.
