Just joined the R3D folding team :)

Have a GTX 580 crunching away. Might drop off once summer hits but, so far so good :D

Supposed to be getting better soon, but that's been the song/dance for years so stopped holding my breath awhile ago. Would be a nice surprise though.
 
After some unfortunate hardware malfunctions I'm folding once more..I've added a PS3 to the cause as well..

This rig will keep on folding even after I give it to my daughter once I get my new rig built.

Haha...I'll think about folding again...but maybe I will folding again when I move to other state.

Thanks guys, and I haven't been looking at the ranks so far, i thought it would take me a good year or so to catch up with you seasoned guys, pc's sit idle in the house and never switched off so might as well put them to good use, and no where else I would do it for than here. Great place this.

Anyway before i start waffling on too much, I'll go and grab a coffee and maybe OC this machine a bit more lol

Thanks, I will do. I added their sig stats to my sig on my own gaff, I'll be able to keep an eye on things easier with that, thanks for the help mate, appreciated.

I will set up another pc here that is hardly used to do some, the rest are too busy playing games or, cough not surfing for pron cough....or so the wee man says anyway, pale face with one arm like popeye!! we all know the truth lol

Heh, and now I notice this thread :)

Checking in, back after lots of years.

Double 5770 + one core of 955be.

It took me a sec to notice gpu threads are also eating up cpu threads, but are doing 4x the work... well in the end 120W gpu and 1/4 of 125W cpu is 150W, but the ammount of work must be bigger than just 4x cpu I guess?

Any tips about heat-management will be appreciated. Also what does "finish" button in the advanced do? Finishes current work or what and what about pause, is it safe to pause or will I loose work?
