Apple event

Ordered pro max

Nice.

I'm really thinking about the 14 Pro. I don't like the iOS ecosystem or the fact Apple Store overcharges for everything.. but it's got a lot of good stuff packed in. Hard to look the other way

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Yeah if I can work out this esim thing it'll be base model iphone14 pro (which I'm only getting so I don't have to upgrade for another 6 years like my current iphone7). Really thought about just getting a 13 since those still have sim trays but would be losing a year of support!

Go on now. Embrace the darkness. I have, and I am happier for it.

Ordered a Purple 256 Pro Max for the wife and a black 512 Pro Max for me.

Fun times!

Wonder when they will finally have a foldable iphone.

Probably when and if the tech matures some more. Right now, they wear out allot over the course of 1yr of heavy use(Needs a really good hinge as they wear out and the crease become more pronounced over time). It needs to be considerably better than that before it goes more mainstream imho.

I'm going to bite, but haven't decided between the Pro and Pro Max.

Not that its a pressing need, but I bought a perfect used 12 Pro a few months ago for $500, in anticipation of some good promos on the 14. TMO has done just that, and I can get $1000 for the 12 Pro, rendering the 14 Pro free, or 14 Pro Max for $100. I expect I can get the same deal in a year on the 15, but no guarantees that my 12 Pro won't be damaged and rendered worthless for tradein.

I like the size of the 12 Pro pretty well, although certainly a step down size-wise from my OP8. Will I regret jumping up to a Pro Max? My understanding is size is the only real difference between the two Pro models (plus bigger battery on Max).

Size is the only difference. Just remember that 1k credit is dispersed over time in credits on your bill.

The only difference is size, yes.

Here is a size comparison of the three phones from PhoneArena. The height of the Pro Max is about the same as your current OnePlus, but it’s wider. The width of the Pro is a little narrower than the OnePlus. Both iPhones will be heavier. The model that will work best for your will depend on your hand size and hand/arm strength, since width and weight will be the deciding factors.

I would recommend holding them both (or the 13 Pro and Pro Max; they’re very similar to their newer counterparts) before making a final decision. Also keep in mind that a case would add width and weight should you choose to use one.

Pro Max biggest issue is weight. Size is fine but the weight and width is where the ergo doesn’t work for my hands.

Just got home with my space black 14 Pro Max.
I don't know why lol. Especially after playing with the S22U at
Verizon store. It just makes the iPhone feel so antiquated.
And that Galaxy watch Pro5 is pretty slick too!
Why'd a get a iPhone again? I've been brainwashed by the cult.

What did you upgrade from?

I was worried about this but it's no issue for me. I seem to be using and holding it the same exact manner as I was using the 12Pro 6.1".
It really doesn't feel that much bigger TBH and next to each other they really aren't.

A plus is I can actually type on the iphone now. The smaller Pro was a fat fingering nightmare.

The dynamic island is a nice useful way for apple to hide the notch.

Ive also noticed longer time before the phone throttles in gaming.
