It looks like this is going to be Call of Duty 2023 too, MW 2 2 is getting both a MP expansion and a story dlc next year.

Microsoft here goes on to state that the current agreement with Activision Blizzard and Sony "includes restrictions on the ability of Activision Blizzard to place Call of Duty titles on Game Pass for a number of years".

What we don't know is the nature of these "restrictions", and whether they amount to a full block of a Call of Duty game's launch on Game Pass, or whether doing so would come at some kind of penalty to Activision Blizzard - such as compensation for users claiming or downloading copies, which it would then pass on to Sony.

Looks like COD isn't going to be perfect for game pass™.

Step right up, step right up, and give BOBBY KOTICK your money if you want to play the latest and greatest shootbang which has no competition because Battleifled sucks, medal of honor is dead, and most other shooters are looter-shooter garbage. :bleh:

median call of doody campaign is 5.5 hrs I think, be surprised if it's more than one standard deviation over that. We have seen infinite warfare tickle 8 hours, thanks to the power of brian bloom's storytelling and side missions. And, he's writing this new one. He also did modern war-hare 2019 which was 6hrs.

Well the campaign was just under 7 hours long, so it's decent value. It had some good missions and some not-so-good ones. I don't think the stealth is great in this one, cold war did that aspect better, although not great itself. Also weird to have a few missions with crafting like in The Last of Us. I guess in a lot of the bad missions the player direction is just not quite on point.

It does have a decent amount of variety. The Watch_Dogs mission was better than the equivalent one in the 2019 version. The AC-130 mission is probably best in the series. And there's a fun car chase mission. Overall I'd say it's better than 2019's campaign but not as good as the best in the series. Upside was performance was pretty slick, no stutters or framerate issues at 1440p maxed. Looks decent and has some good atmosphere.

Co-op is terrible. Worst in a long time. 3 missions, all poor and some are short, with limited replay value, dumb AI, cheating AI. The last mission is 6 waves to defend and is easy to get 3 stars and embarrassingly bad imo

Multiplayer is good, definitely the best part of the package. They nerfed the footstep audio pretty bad though, you can still hear enemies but not as easily. Kinda sad about that. None of the maps are great. Some good ones, some average ones. They all feel different enough, I guess.

People are already complaining about the perk system. Mostly because they can't run ghost from the start and uav spots their asses. I honestly don't really think it's that big of a deal. You can kill UAVs easily with an LMG or the launchers, or pop a counter-uav. And if none of that is available, just assume people know where you are and plan accordingly.

Quite disappointing there is no stats page / combat record. But I guess that won't be too far away.

I'm not a fan of how you have to use weapons that are kind of bad in order to unlock the good stuff in the weapon unlock tree.

Especially when the SBMM puts you against people using meta weapons after 1-2 matches.

that kind of "mechanic" is found in almost every game nowadays, WoT often sets you up against players 2 tiers above you. Which can and will lead to a lot of frustration. It kinda evens out later on (a bit). But at that time a lot of players alredy gave up which is a shame. Other than that it's simply progression as in every game.

The big HWU gpu comparison in this title:

[yt]hZ4JDDCnOi0[/yt]

Gonna be one of the top games in fps for Radeon it seems.

yeah i don't like the attachment unlock system. Use another gun to get a reflex sight, but have you use 2 other guns to unlock that other gun. Just messy.
