Dead Space Remake

What is the value of a reskin, the original was good looking this is a reshade mod with change of some actors voicing, worth picking up at full price ? I doubt it.

It’s been completely rebuilt from the ground up, similar to what Bluepoint did with Demon’s Souls.

new engine, all new assets, extra story content, fully connected ship, redone voices, horror director that changes pacing / world. game is essentially completely new and looks 10x better than the original.

Some people had trouble with motion sickness in 1. Also the controls were a bit clunky in 1, compared to 2. None of that was enough to stop me playing but could be a reason Destroy stopped.

Yes, that and the FOV. I had a lot of trouble with that and almost quit.

Made it official and went with ea pro for a month. Maybe 2 as some of the other games that come with it look pretty good as well.

With any luck EA will bring Callisto Protocol to EA app so you can play it :D

One month of ea pro costs $15 and you play the game for free.

Revisiting this. The windows ea pro app has a background service that runs no matter what, and uses data constantly it seems. I don’t like that. A bit of searching turned up numerous threads on ea support about it that were closed and archived with no answers from support technicians, so apologies for the recommendation. I’ve cancelled my membership and am uninstalling the app and associated services.

Here’s a sample thread.

You can access it via Origin, you don't need their new app.

I never even thought about Origin until someone else brought it up to me recently. I think….maybe Crysis? Was the last time I used it. Appreciate the tip
