Apparently this has riled up some PS4-exclusivity fanboys, who are cancelling pre-orders (or so they say). I guess they're Mads. Reedus and weep, exclusives!

(505 Games is publishing, and hoping that unlike Control it's not an ironic Epicfail Godawful Storefront-and-lets-face-it-the-rest-is-worse exclusive...)

It will be the definitive version for sure. It will still sell a ton on PS4 cause most people dont have the hardware to run it maxed on a PC most likely.

I'm real happy about this. I was just about to finally cave and buy a PS4, as I have never skipped out on a Kojima game and this one was for sure looking like a PlayStation exclusive. Honestly in shock its coming to PC. Awesome!

Understandable for people to cancel pre-orders if they'd rather play it on PC. But Sony fanboys getting mad about it?

One thing for sure though, this is a perfect example why Rockstar does not announce their PC releases until well after they've sold tons on the consoles. On another note though, nice of Kojima and company to do this, and give people the choice.

pre-ordered the collectors edition for PS4 (because it's badass), was going to get a ps4 later on. i kind of doubt there will be a collectors edition for PC so i should probably hang onto the pre-order. sell the ps4 disc or something

To this day, I honesty have no idea what this game is supposed to be. Glad they're bringing it to PC though. The more we get away from console exclusives the better.

Its a Kojima game. That's really all you need to know. You're supposed to go into it not knowing much, but end up with an incredibly unique and well designed gaming experience. Unless you just don't like Kojima games but then what's wrong with you.

Why would you sell the game disc from a collector's edition? Wouldn't that ruin its "collectibility" if you split it up?

Only problem with waiting for the PC version is trying to avoid spoilers. You really need to go into Kojima's games blind.

I'm fine with doing that, plenty of self control but I feel for a lot of people the experience will be ruined.
