Death Stranding

Director's Cut is a separate game and I'll need to pay more for it? Any save transfers? I just started a new game to try and get into this thing and don't really want to start over again.
Yep you can transfer your save.

Update 1.07 from March 22nd enabled transfers. Although you have to atleast be past the beginnings of chapter 2. You walk up to a delivery terminal with no orders active and press tab then press A then go to system and then export save data from there ^_^

Haha, what? Do I need them installed separately and go into the old game to transfer in-game?

Bleigh!

Also yes you need to hit up a delivery terminal in game in the original death stranding to export your sav.....PCMASTERRACE ON :masterrace:

Yeah just slide into
Code:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\KojimaProductions

Copy the DeathStranding folder and paste it where it stands in the KojimaProductions folder rename the copied folder to DeathStrandingDC and launch Directors Cut version of the game.

Also pay no attention to the man behind the curtain as this is a hacky way to get around the lack of delivery terminal and all that tomfoolery I came up with cause PCMR :masterrace:

Probably wanna back up yer **** incase this method screws up your shite :3

Sorry to be a negative nancy but looking over the marketing material I'm struggling to understand why I would want to upgrade.

Dis true its basically a cash grab riding on the coat tails of the PS5 release of the game 6 months to late. Apparently they've made the game easier and more accessible to people as well  Not to mention adding in more **** an artist took 5 minutes in photoshop to reskin.

I for one was suckered in by the promise of xess but it turns out that probably wont be added so i can tinker with it until after intels gpus come out !_!

Meh, it was cheap enough. Since I had deliveries to finish in the old game I did those and transfered my save. With fresh eyes going from one version to the next, the DC is visually much nicer looking. I heard too many people saying they disliked the game originally but really fell in love with it after the Director's Cut that I figured for the price I may as well.

Rawr :3 Glad you got the save transferred gai ^_^

Also dont mind me im being a buttplug cause i've been up for like too many hours.

Any gay still not played this game yet? Dafuq!

I'm in that group...have waited to play an updated version on PS5 and sounds like some nice features were added to go along with visual upgrades. I'll definitely be trying it after Elden Ring and HFW

I was using my DualSense via Bluetooth last night so didn't realise (until I read it in the forums today) that haptics and triggers are supported on PC (wired connection only). Going to try that tonight. I hear it's pretty good.

Transferred my save over to the DC version but I think I might just start a new game anyways. I need a refresher from the beginning basically just to figure out the non intuitive UI again . I remember the controls pretty well, already killed bunch of BT's, but yeah, gonna restart.

Oh, I tried that new catapult, pretty badass.

Got to Episode 9 but no, had enough, even in small chunks and the forced BT encounters, frustrating, boring as hell, looks nice would have been good to use the world and create a real game, you know something fun. The other enemies I would have been happy just to deal with them as a game tbh.

Uninstalled.
