I've actually been able to pre-order the 950 pro already at the local shop. 200 less then what I paid for the SM951. NVME, lower power and it's actually supported by Samsung so it will work with Magician and I'll be able to secure erase. Plus it doesn't have the heat issue that the SM951 has.

I'll be giving away the SM951 to anyone who wants it once the new drive arrives.

My two SSDs will be arriving on this Thursday, so I can't wait to testing mine. And no, it's not my first time though. I have a 2 years old Samsung 840 Pro 128GB that will be eventually replaced with a new Crucial MX200 500GB. Another one, I will swap my laptop WD HDD 750GB with a new Crucial BX100 250GB.

Not sure what to do with an old Samsung SSD though. lol
 
Quite the difference.

Left is on MB Intel 6Gig SATA port
Right is on iocrest addon PCIe x1 6Gig SATA card (w.Marvell 92xx chipset)

Both with Crucial MX500 2TB SSD
