finally back to the top 100

Well I don't think I will be getting back to the top 20 anytime soon though.

That hill gets really steep around 25th place.

I just got above the blue bar, and am now 50th. My goal is to get high enough that when telework ends and I can't babysit my machine, that I never end up on the 2nd page again.

I'll probably still fold on weekends, and if I get really obsessive I'll flip the switch when I get home from work for the three hours of dealing with wife/kids before I use it to play gamezzz.

Just broke the 1M PPD 24 hour average barrier. I don't think I can sustain it, but feels good. New color looks good on me, but gold looks good too.

hey your 4th this week ;) , I have to crank it to keep up with you .

You might not be far off soon. I got two 16435 WUs in a row - each crashed at about 72% complete, after 3.5 hours.

And foldingforum.org didn't pay their hosting bills, it looks like. Site says "Account suspended."

Something must be wrong with your GPU. My V64 runs that unit just fine.

I was checking out each team's average PPD (meaning the average PPD of active users) and Team Rage3D does pretty well with over 300k. Most teams are 180k or less.

Except nVidia. They've employed their AI learning machine and it's kicking serious ass @ 500M PPD. 2nd place is raplab - also part of the NVIDIA team at 400M PPD. Basically NVIDIA earns about 10% of all the points awarded.

Their WU return ratio is way down - about 10 - 20k per day between the two "users" or roughly 0.7% of all WUs.

Installed the ac units yesterday evening I'll be reduced to overnight folding for the summer months as well.

Took us long enough to finally overtake Team EFG. We moved up a rank for the first time since I restarted folding, from 49th to 48th.

Next update, Intel will knock us back down to 49th place with their 400M PPD BS. :bleh:

As for my folding, I'm not sure. I didn't stop in 2003-5 until my CPU fried and I quit folding altogether (or so I thought). Same thing might happen in 2020, but this time it will be my GPU.

Seriously, i'm only just coming up for my first 1mil, how many computers are you running?!?

10 in the last 7 days.. (a PC with a folding GPU and CPU counts as two). https://stats.foldingathome.org/donor/10821

EDIT: That said, are you using a passkey and getting your bonus points? /Edit

For my big PC it will hit 1.3M points in a day on its own. If it wasn't for Pr 16435, I'd have posted 400k more points yesterday. Those WUs are destroying me running for three hours and coming up as BAD_WORK_UNIT, usually after a crash that I have to notice.

My laptop consistently brought in 400k PPD and ran at 95C for two months. Recently I lowered some settings that brought it down to 85C but sacrificed 150k PPD to do it.

Now that I've hit 50M points I will probably shut my laptop off in a couple of weeks and give it a big hug. I do need it for travel and I have lots of travel coming up in a few months. It's sitting on top of a high flow air filter but I'm sure it's still getting dust.

Then I have my Linux laptop with a Centrino CPU. It gets about 900 PPD. :bleh:. Takes at least a day, sometimes two to fold a 755 base credit WU :bleh: I leave it off mostly.
