Loved the books as a kid. Will definitely watch. Please don't suck.
 
damn it.. one of my favorite series as a kid and it looks good. AppleTV was one streaming service I hoped to be able to avoid entirely. Guess I'll eventually put it into the rotation once this goes live.
 
Is the girl Arkady Darell? I always pictured her has a redhead because of Michael Whelan's cover art. :lol:

EDIT: Or it could be Hari's granddaughter, Wanda. Depends on where the show focuses. It's a pretty massive series.

I'm gonna read the series again. Never read the prequels that were written long afterwards, so I'll start there.

:yes: Classic sci-fi, but the ADHD crowd today might have trouble with them. Not enough rapid-edit ship battles and explosions.
 
Something worth using apple+ maybe, not seeing much value in my free year of service I just started at this point.

Watched my first two Atmos enabled movies on it, Wolf Walkers and Greyhound, that I mentioned in the movie thread. Watched one episode of Home and dunno, not as much building science as I would have hoped but maybe that changes.

Anyways I haven't read the books in forever. Character names were familiar but I don't remember reading any parts that was in the trailer. Also I thought no one talked in Foundation, communication was all subtle body movements.
