GTX 980 Ti

I'm thinking 20nm IF the 980 Ti is out early next year. Aren't there delays with chips at the moment?

Might be the new node. /shrug

Grain of salt alert!!!

Potential 980 Ti benchmarks along with 390X, Titan X and 965Ti benches. Probably bullshit.

The chart is in percentage with R9 290X as 100% baseline
yes it is more about the r9 390x

lots of salt but

hope to h*ll it is ture

wonder since the 980 ti is another cut chip of the GM200 is it's 6gb of vram 5gb + 1gb :hmm:

The 390x is supposedly going to ship in 4GB and 8GB variants. This is probably why the card is delayed till June now. My big issue with the 390x is the fact that its supposed to use the same cooler that comes on the 295x2 which means massive power, massive heat to achieve what the Titan-X can with a regular Titan cooler with lower heat and lower power usage. The other issue is the fact that Crossfiring 2/3/4 390x's will require some feat of engineering to find cases with enough 120MM fan spots to utilize. I know for a fact I couldn't fit more then one 390x in my Temjin because the tubing won't reach the bottom section of the chassis and the rad is too low.

The 980ti doesn't seem all that viable either. It will probably be priced at the same as the 390x which will perform faster then the 980ti. Unless NVidia plans to sell the 980ti for dirt cheap and I mean $399 dirt cheap then it could be a winner.

I am holding off for another month on the Titan-X though. Going to see if I can find that mini-ATX board first.

if true

yes as massive power of 33 watts more than a titan x
and 3 watts less than the 290x i'm sure if true air coolers will be all over the place from asus, msi and alike

Since every site is stating that these are fakes I see it using more power to achieve its performance. If AMD could guarantee driver support and Crossfire functionality without the use of water cooling or a poor blower style cooler then I'd buy it. Unfortunately all the photos that surfaced show otherwise.

The only thing against Nvidia is the price. The Titan-X for the next 3 months will be top dog in single GPU performance. Then the 390x will hit in May/June shortening the gap but may not be what people think. Now the delay with the 390x may be due to the addition of higher memory and maybe a new cooler something not water cooled. Bug again more power 33 watts or not is still and increase with an increase to temps.

there is no release date on the titan X so they could be out the same time
and all info on it could be fake to

and would you really buy a 1000 to 1500 titan X 1 or 2 months before the 390x is out that maybe will drop the price of the titan x a little or maybe a lot :hmm:

these rumors could be why the price talk is now 999 and not 1299 to 1499

I know you were hurt on the 295x2's you going to set up to get it again

The Titan-X is scheduled to be released on the 17th at the Nvidia even according to Nvidia CEO.

We'll see more starting tomorrow, all the Chinese sites will start posting stuff early like always.
ok

but the Chinese sites start leaking when the cards hit production in the chinese factories and they just start making the cards
not 2 days before they hit newegg

According to some posts on HardOCP OCUK has stock and is ready to go. This will most likely be a hard launch.
