House of the Dragon (GOT prequel)

I think you may have understood that point. The king didn't change his mind. He was so out of it, that he didn't know who he was talking to. He thought he was speaking to his daughter, and didn't realize it was the queen.

Cheap/manufactured drama. That’s my exact point.

I keep thinking it will get better, but it doesn't. This the most boring soap opera I've ever seen. I no longer care what happens to any of these characters.

yeah i mean i dont really care but i watch along. its maybe a little better than the last season of GoT but not by much. they don't stay on one character enough. that's the biggest problem. they jump around a TON, and the age skips dont help. Even with this last episode, Aegon was out living debaucherously on the town? show all of that. he raped someone last episode. how did he feel about it? build these people up... it's like they have little snippets of meaningful stuff and then snatch it away for bs filler

I liked the show for the most part, last 2 episodes were decent, will watch S2 which isn't due until 2024. What's with the year and a half crap in-between years now. First, they cut shows from 20 to 10 and now extend it out to a year and a half for the next season.

I really liked the show. Except one episode that was complete bullshit. It was the episode where Deamon basically defeated the whole army of crab people on his own like he was an elf from LOTR bowling over orcs or something.
