Why didn't the King insist that Aegon give up his ill begotten dragon?
Might require the dragon to give up aegon, which is a taller order. Once the dragons bond, that's that they said

At least she got more screen time than his last wife.
He became a cocky little **** once he got his dragon. I was sympathizing for him earlier, but after that little fight stunt he deserved to get his eye sliced.
A lot of people are saying that about the last two episodes. But I liked them.this last episode a little boring imo.
The projected ages of these guys are getting out of hand. Wasn't Aegon the younger brother? Now he looks like the oldest.
yep.
so there's some sketchy stuff going on in real life with his age.
His stated age right now afaik is supposed to be 20 which means in his previous show, the last kingdom, he was 15, and he apparently REALLY does not look 15 in that.
anyways he looks waaay too old imo. could easily be mid to later 20s.
I think it's just jarring with all the actor changes and age jumps. So everything seems inconsistent.I maybe should have been more specific, but I think in very general terms, the acting isn’t quite there for a large majority of the characters… or it is but they don’t manage the screen time well and instead are wasting it.
I think it's still terrible.
King nearly kills himself to affirm his line of succession. Something he has been strong on for decades and then does a complete 180 in his dying breath???? The manufactured conflict in this series is worse than the ending of the original series. They all get along and then they don't and then they are do again and then they back to scheming and plotting, ... What the hell are they thinking? Where have all the good writers gone? I'll stick with Andor right now as the only series with actual plot and good characters. This is garbage. No matter how many decades they skip over it continues to suck.
