If they were in retail stock, would you buy a new graphics card right now?

Poll in coming

What is current pricing? The old or new pricing? I would and did with the old pricing, but the new pricing they can suck it!

it needs a

I don't like the current prices or current cards :hmm:

waiting on better stock and cards

3080 ti or 6900 XTX if they do make them

Yes, and I feel the prices of the current lineup (MSRP obviously) are perfectly in line. Well, except the 3090, which I've always thought was silly and pointless. Otherwise, 3080 on down, eveything seems priced reasonably. No complaints on pricing, I just wish they were easier to purchase.

3080s have jumped from typical pricing of 700-800 to 900-1000. I don't think it is reasonable.

Yeah out of line. Only consider purchasing cause I need the HDMI 2.1 support otherwise i wouldn't bother.

Yes. Absolutely yes. I have multiple systems that I need to equip with current cards, and its unbelievable that the wait continues. Kicking myself for not jumping on pre-holiday deals on previous generation cards. I can't keep waiting, and am not sure what to do.

I think the high end prices are basically fair, for what it is.

However, the lower end being pushed up slowly from the 200 range to 400 range is disappointing. At one time $200 bought you a pretty decent midrange card, now $200 is like bottom of the barrel. So, that kind of sucks, but I don't know what choice anyone really has but to pay up?

Yup. Right around the Radeon GCN and GeForce Kepler era till the crypto currency boom yeah. MSRP pricing sux right now.... but I'd buy a current mid-tier at around +/- $500 Canadian rubles.

Check Newegg and Amazon recent listing of AIB cards.

I did, and you should do the same. For example, 7 out of 26 cards on newegg are $900+. Two of them with built in waterblocks and attached rads. The sky isn't falling yet folks, calm down.

Stop spreading false information.

There is 1 Ventus and 1 PNY model alone that is at its original price. These haven't been in stock for a while as well. All the rest have increased in price.

There was never an argument about some prices raising in general. This is what you said, and what I disagreed with.

3080s have jumped from typical pricing of 700-800 to 900-1000.
I disagree, because yet again, the vast majority of cards are under $900. In fact, most cards are between $700 and $850.

I voted:

No, don't need a new card right now

Since I was lucky enough to get a 3080 already. However, if I saw one in stock for MSRP I'd probably buy it just to help out someone here that's still trying to get one.
