Being an avid tweaker as soon as I got the Radeon it was benchmarking time so I could measure the difference. While sifting through the registry I found something very interesting. HyperZ is defaulted to off. It works more or less like the D3D FSAA. As default it works on Application Preference. Therefore not using the technology unless the program asks it to. Therefore changing it to on will force every program to use it. In 3dmark2000 just by turning this option to "on" it increased my 3dmarks by 700 marks. Now you tell me if that's an awesome performance gain.
