iPhone 8

Woke up at 5am with phone plugged in. It’s 6:52 and I’m already at 82%. Terrible. My battery is great usually too..

Yes. I thought 11.1 was suppose to fix it. But looking back, Apple never said anything about a battery life fix, so hopefully 11.2.

I WILL NOT accept this kind of battery life from my X tomorrow.

Yep. My battery life was phenomenal before 11. My iPhone6S isn’t that old either so it’s ridiculous how bad the battery has been.
 
Yup same w/ my wife's 6s plus... battery life before 11 was excellent. Took a huge nosedive after the update.
 
I took my phone to the Apple store right at the first iOS 11 updated. Battery is fine and was still in great condition. This is clearly an iOS issue.
 
I wonder if the phones have to re-index when iOS 11 is installed. Might be draining the battery for a bit before it does that.

I havent noticed any drop off in battery for my 7+.
 
Fwiw my ipads battery is in the dirt after the update also. I was always pleasantly surprised by the life I could squeeze out of both devices before that update. Now they're just garbage.
 
I’m at 22% and barely used the phone, and it was turned off sitting in the car for at least 4 hours.

Unreal. This is even worse than 11.03
 
Has anyone had issues charging? I noticed earlier today charging was going slow as **** but seemed to speed up when I reseated the cable. My cables, to be fair, aren't in the greatest of condition.

Issues on my iPad Air 2. I’ve tried multiple chargers etc. Sometimes it doesn’t even charge when it shows it charging.

My iPad Air seems to work fine. I want to say it is on an earlier version of 11 though. I noticed yesterday my phone running 11.something was charging really slowly using Apple's charger. Upgrading to 11.1 now.

Try blowing out your port with a duster can. Lint can get in there from your pocket and cause the plug to not seat properly.

Upgrading to 11.1 right now too, and really hoping it fixes things. First thing I saw was “70 new emoji,!”

I don’t care just fix it! :p

put it in yesterday not seen much fix on my 7+ yet still sucking the battery like it needs batteries anonymous :bleh:
 
Batt life is still garbage here. I've been pondering a new handset since mine is hitting the 2 year mark and I want a bigger screen anyway.
